Cabin

We went up to the cabin this past weekend, and it was still cold, 40 degrees during the day time.  The plumber who opened the cabin told us that there was still snow up there and he had to walk up the driveway.  I thought it would be fun to do the same.

Then we arrived at the foot of the driveway and there was 2 feet of snow and no place to park the car.  The town's police (there is only 1 in the whole town) drove past by us and I decided to ask him whether we could just park on the side of the road tonight.  The cabin is 3 properties down from the police's and we drove into his driveway to ask the question.  Just to remind you that it was raining and we would have no place to park the car if we don't  start shoveling that 2 feet of snow. I probably would not mind this much if we don't have a small child with us because this would not be the craziest episode in our marriage.  Anyway, the police man said no and he also had his hand on his gun.  Huh??? what does he think we were gonna do??

We shoveled the snow and went up to the cabin (with 2 backpacks and 30 lb of dehumidifier, all necessities, don't ask me why).  I love the cabin after it was heated up and nice and toasty.  Because the snow is melting, we can hear the stream at the back of the cabin is running.  We had a very good weekend.

Hey, I also received these 2 water cups from the kiln, do you like it?
