Spring


Spring is officially here but it is still cold.  I think it is a good time to drink soup.  I stayed at home with Ev for a couple of days because he got stomach flu.  So I did a lot of cooking.  I made this pork soup with daikon, carrots, mushroom, and tree ears.  It was the perfect soup for the cold or flu! When I visited my parents in Taipei, there are so many stores selling all kind of soups,  I love soups, even in the hot days!

We hosted a get together with the family.  I roasted asparagus, butternut squash, and brussels sprouts.  Of course,  I did not forget my favorite vegetable, kale.  We had a lovely dinner with mussels with butter saffrons sauce.  I love get togethers!
