Still making bowls. I am not satisfied at what I made because it is not perfect (in my eyes). In the past, I laughed about people who wanted to make a perfect thing because I thought about the definition of hand made is not perfect and I always say that if anyone wants a perfect thing, they should just go to Pottery Barn and get it. Somehow, I changed my mind after I saw my teacher's work, Sang Joon Park, his works is balanced and harmonious.
In another hand, I have collected two other artists works in my house and their works are not perfect (i.e. not perfect round) but I love their works too. One of these days, I will figure out the contradiction. Hummm.....
After 4 hours of trimming the bowls in the studio, I headed over to Greenpoint and had a very satisfying Polish food, bigos, stuffed cabbage, kielbasa, potato pancake, and pirogi. Life is pretty good!
