Before I went to Taiwan,  I made 12 ice cream cups and when I came back, 5 of them came out of the kiln with glazing running down to the bottom.  Basically, they are no good anymore.  I had to take a picture of them before I sent them to the trash.  They are so pretty to look at from the top!

The thing about making pottery is that you never know what it will turn out.

Then someone at the studio bought this delicious tamarind ice.  This reminds me when I was at the Caribbean where I can see this kind of ice everywhere.  So refreshing!
