Simple Form

Today is the day that I decided to simplify my life (again).  In the morning, while we were getting ready to take Ev to the daycare so we can go to work.  I put on my thin white linen tunic with stretch camisole  inside, layering with a sweater and a jacket, then my flats with thin socks.  The moment I put all of these on,  I knew that this was totally wrong, because the stretch camisole kept raising up to my waist  (which is so annoying), the shoes was not comfortable at all (but pretty) and the thin tunic is not the thing to wear at 45 degree weather.  In any event,  I did not have time to change because Ev discovered that the tissue dissolved in the running water was too much fun and all the water were outside of the sink which meant that we had to clean the floor now and took out all the dissolved tissue from the clogged drain.

I remained very calm the whole way taking Ev to school when there was no seats for us on the 6 train (typical).  As soon as I dropped Ev off, I came home right away and changed to the more sensible clothing.

The thing is that I have way too many clothing in my closet for special occasions.  Although every day can be special, it does not warrant the type of clothing for child care and pottery works.  My closet does not fit my vision of my work.  I love making simple forms and my apartment is neat,  I have no idea why my closet is out of control.  So, today is the day to sort of my closet and make my life simpler.
