Apple picking

We went up to Connecticut yesterday for apple picking.  The weather was great and everyone had so much fun walking around the orchard.

This is also the first time Ev got to go to apple picking, because few years ago, before we had Ev,  we went to an orchard in New York state and there was nothing really interesting going on and I was disappointed.  But this particular one in Connecticut has a corn pit (a little area filled with corn), rides to pick up apples, pumpkin patch, small petting zoo.  There are many this kind of orchards in Connecticut.  We will make this annual event from now on.  

At the end of the day, we picked up some pastry and apple dumplings (this is the best!). Fall is my favorite season!
