We walked everywhere in Rome and it was not enough time to see everything. Small delivery truck with flowers driving thru small cobble stone streets and selling flowers to stores;
Water fountains, churches and more churches,
buildings, old buildings, there are no buildings less than two hundreds years old (I think),
obelisks (there are total 13 of them in Rome, the most in the world), I thought there were all from Egypt and Rome only left one back in Egypt. Humm....
Yes, we went with Ev and I am glad that he is still using stroller because he can just sit in there and we can still stroll around. The bad thing is that there are cobber stone everywhere. No, let me say that there are only cobber stone road and sidewalks are narrow, it is totally nuts, but for the whole time I was there, I only saw two shoe repairs stores (maybe I was not looking at the right places). How do fabulous Italian women wearing heels on the cobber stone and don't need to visit the shoe repair store once a week?
There were so many tourists there, mostly American and Chinese in travel groups. I don't know what to say about Chinese owned souvenir stores in Rome.
Oh well, the food was great and the thin crust pizza from local forno is awesome. We had too much wine, too much cheese, too much pizza, too much al dente pasta!!
Here is the morning sky in Rome. Fabulous.
