Slow Down

Summer has gone by so fast.  We were able to go to the beaches in Jersey shore, Connecticut and even Coney Island.  We even went to Blue Hill at Stone Barn to have lunch and walked around (although there were too many people there).  It seems to me that summer is just the busiest season of all because we want to utilize every weekend to do something fun.  Ev learned to use his scooter and love it every minute of it.  

I finally look around my little desk in the apartment and realize that I have not been able to sit down and relax for a second.  I also promised myself in the beginning of the summer that I have to slow down at the pottery studio so that I can refine my designs on the pottery.  And after several weeks of trying, I think I am happy making the patterns on my cups and bowls.
