I only like winter if I don't have to subject myself to the cold, i.e. I only like to experience it from the inside of a building with temperature at 80 degree. But I have to go food shopping, send Ev to school, go to pottery studio, so I skip the first task. Today is the 2nd day we take taxi to school. Subway ride to school simply is not possible for me (because I am spoiled, no) when both of us are trying to get over this nasty cold that we got from his day care (lovely). This is quite a luxury for us and I totally love taking taxi to go anywhere now. Hummm... maybe I should try my luck on lotto??
Before I picked up Ev in the afternoon, I stopped by this Fuzhou eatery near his school and had this fish ball soup. It is so good and so piping hot. Last week, I had this and totally blistered my mouth.
Ev's day care is located somewhere at the belly of the beast (inside of Chinatown). It almost feels like I am in China, or specifically in Fuzhou. I have never been to Fuzhou but every store and food establishment is Fuzhou related. One perk of sending Ev all the way to Chinatown for day care is that there are a tons of cheap and good food around. I have be having this soup everyday if the weather stays this cold.
