I had no idea that I can get real Hong Kong street food in Chinatown. Of course, there is really no "street food" in Hong Kong but there are storefront breakfast places (hole in the wall style) that I discovered last time I was there. This flat noodles is exactly what I had for breakfast in Hong Kong and it is very different from Dim Sum style. The rice noodles are rolled up and cut into shorter piece and the sauce tastes a little peanut butter in it (seriously I am not sure what kind of sauce it is but it is delicious). Unlike the food truck craze in midtown, this small cart I found in Chinatown is very small and very cheap ($1.25 for the small flat noodle).
And the cart also sells tea eggs. Love it!
Today is the day I finally can relax after being sick with Ev for 2 weeks. The apartment really needs a good clean up and I have to go back to the pottery studio soon!
