Magdalena

When we were in Barcelona, we had this delicious pastry almost every morning with cafe con leche and that is how Catalan takes it.  I always got the big one, like the size of a big muffin in the states.  The difference between muffin and magdalena is that muffin crumbles.  I found this recipe from Food.com and made it this afternoon.  So delicious.  I will be making this often!

It is almost 9:00 p.m. and Ev is still not sleeping, it has passed his normal sleep time for one hour now.  He has been having high fever and very congested nose for 2 days and we have been trying to give him the medication without any success.  We tried to bribe him so that he might take the medication and all it did was make him more hyper.  Finally we tried to force him and all of the medication was on his shirt.  My child is super stubborn and that might be hereditary.

I gave up.  I just know that no one is going to sleep thru the night.
