Fall

The air is getting chillier nowadays, I love to go to the Central Park to see all the leaves turing yellow and brown.  Fall is so beautiful in the city.  This past Saturday, we went to the Pumpkin Fest in the park for the first time.  The weather was perfect and a lot of children were dressing up except Ev.  He refused to put on his cowboy custom (the same as last year, why not? does he even remember what he wore yesterday anyway?) or should I say that putting any clothing on him is an uphill battle recently.  Anyway, he did not dress up to the festival.  Big Apple Circus was there and two clowns were performing on the bandshell.  I actually liked it so much that I clapped a lot.  Having a child definitely change how I see things and clowns (the one without scary makeup and big red nose) make me laugh.

Hurricane Sandy is coming and I was glad that Leo will be home on Monday with us.  It would be insane for me to play with Ev alone the whole time if we can't leave the apartment.  Of course, children upstairs are also out of school and they are housebound as well and can you even imagine the noise we get.  Ev has been running nonstop in the apartment whole morning and I was wondering when the downstairs neighbors will come up (stressful situation).

I made a whole pot of vegetarian lentil soup last night and it was very yummy.  (This picture quality is terrible.  One of these days, I will figure out how to take a better picture).  Stay safe!
