It was a long weekend so we headed up to our cabin on Saturday morning.  1 hour into our trip in New Jersey, Ev threw up.  In the car seat with his whole head and face smeared with puke.  We had to go into the nearest mall to wash him up.  That took about 45 minutes to clean the car seat.  Then the sun started beating down and it was already 85 degrees outside.  Then we forgot the air conditioner did not work.  It did not just not work well.  It totally did not work.  And normally in May, the weather is not 85 degree and Leo and Ev simply could not take it.  Guess what!  We drove back to Queens to switch to another car.  By the time this whole thing was done, it was already 3:30 p.m.

Which means that by the time we got to Pennsylvania was 5:30 p.m. so we had Wendy's for dinner.  Are you joking me!!  I don't like fast food at all.

But the good news is that after we arrived at the cabin, we were kind of relax for the rest of the weekend.   One can never relax with a small child.  Ev was sick with fever and Leo had to drive to the store to get a thermometer and driving to the store in the countryside and back is not a easy thing.  It is minimum 1 hour and 30 minutes.

We had steak for Sunday dinner and I got to do some gardening and repainted my picnic bench which I had neglected that chore for the past 3 years.

I also discovered that a new store was opened in Milford, PA.  It is a pottery studio/store, Shohola Bells, and the works are amazing.
