Chestnut

Over the weekend,  I saw this big bag of chestnuts for sale at the supermarket and I had to have it.  Did I tell you how much I love chestnuts? Maybe I will make pastry with chestnut fillings.  

I was going through the notes I made while I was in Paris and found a note with our last night of dinner at Flo, a brasserie at the airport, and all I wrote was beef tartar on it. We had our last meal at the airport because of Air France's strike and I was determined to have good food even though we were stuck at the airport.  We had a horrible experience with Air France during this trip but at least three of us were together.  I guess in the end, being able to stay with the ones you love is the most important thing, but good food certainly helps!
