Plates and Kale

It is snowing again and we had to go to the doctor's office this morning for Ev.  I am not sure why Ev gets sick so easily.  It must be this crazy weather.  This past extended weekend was pretty nice and we were able to make meals together like a family.  I love cooking at home and I made my first chicken stocks with dried scallops that took 7 hours and it was so delicious.  Normally, there is no time to make such kind of soup but now Ev is older and he can sort of entertain himself while I do some works.

Ev helped me to make a kale salad,  he squeezed the lime juice and massaged kale leaves.

I also want to show you some of the plates that came out of the kiln (my very first kiln stacking).

Hope you enjoy the snow day!
