Summer has been here since we came back from Taiwan. We finally went up to our cabin and really loved it. Unlike the past 3 years, now we were able to drive up there on Friday night (because Ev is older now) which is so much better because we can spend 2 days in the woods. Ev gets very excited when he sees eagles above the Delaware River and deers near the cabin ( I don't really care about deers, the thought about ticks and all that). Regardless, I love waking up in the woods and seeing all the trees around me.
On Saturday, there is a small farmer's market 4 minutes away from the cabin. It has all the food you need, bread, dessert, meat, cheese, vegetable, eggs, and yogurts. We grilled the sausages and mushroom, made salad, and prepared some wine and cheese. Life is great!
