Pineapple Pastry

Taipei is way too hot and humid for me.  We spent most of the day in the air conditioned buildings drinking tea, coffee, having dessert, having meals and reading books.  Oh, and I forgot about shopping.  Not too bad for vacation!

This is the newest product at Maison Kayser, pineapple pastry.  Very yummy.

I was able to go to a bookstore this afternoon and spent some quiet time there while Ev was taking his long nap in the stroller.  This is probably the only time I have for myself in the day time, otherwise, my time is fully consumed by Ev (playing with him, figuring out what he has to eat are the 2 biggest agendas for me).

My parents' place is very close to the Breeze Center and Maison Kayser is at that shopping mall.  I must visit the bakery everyday.  (don't want to know how much weight I gained in the past 3 weeks) There are so many bakeries in Taipei and there are always freshly made bread and pastry coming out of oven.  I must say that eating is the biggest enjoyment in Taipei!
