Happy Holiday!

It had been awhile since I blogged last time.  We have been very busy traveling to Taiwan visiting family members and adjusting jet lag afterward which was never an easy task.  I have also noticed that although adjusting a jet lag was not easy, it is also possible with a small child.  Of course, I have never said that the situation is perfect (i.e. have your child sleep in his own bed voluntarily) but we have managed to sleep (all together, like what ancient people do in an ancient tribe where everyone including their own grandmother and second cousins twice removed all sleep in the same room).

Nonetheless, life has been back normal and I have brought back some of my works from the pottery studio.  I have made many small plates like this one after my trip to Barcelona and I absolutely love it.  It is so handy for putting fruits and nuts or sauce in it.  The color is this nice pure white and I am quite happy about it.

We really had a good year, Ev is getting bigger and he can speak the whole sentence; we had a great trip to Barcelona back in October and Mexico in April; We also got to see our family in Taiwan twice (and survived, I mean, us from the trips); I have been back to the pottery studio for one full year now; I also met several new friends at the studio; my poor husband's job is still crazy busy (which has been consistent since Day 1 I met him and that was 9 years ago).  We are very blessed.  I hope you had a great year just like us and we are looking for more adventures in 2013.

Happy Holiday to you all!
